Sargent Family Community Center Completed in the fall of 2017 29,000 SF Project Amenities: 13,000 sf Field House Locker Rooms Senior Center Teen Center Multipurpose Room Event Kitchen Recreation Staff Offices Project Challenges Brownfield site Maine Advanced Buildings Program The project and site, a former rail-side, Webber Oil tank farm and partially remediated brownfield presented numerous design, agency coordination and construction monitoring efforts. As project manager I also successfully led the efforts to engage the client in applying for Efficiency Maine's Maine Advanced Buildings Program, advance the design in accordance with the programs design requirements and develop record narrative abstracts for all augmented building systems. Program incentives for Owner and Architect were awarded upon completion.
